                           Thoughts from Pastor Bob​      ​

                                                              This spring has brought about much needed rain.  We should continually thank God for the                                                                blessing He sends to us in the form of rain.

                                                              We are currently studying Acts on Sunday mornings.  If we want to see what God has in                                                                      mind for His church, we only need to look at Acts.  The Bride of Christ (the church) should                                                                  be like the early church of the first century.  Spirit filled!  We should be gathering in                                                                              fellowship to worship Our Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ.

The early church faced all sorts of obstacles.  These included ridicule, persecution, and martyrdom (death by execution).  Yet, they flourished and added thousands to their ranks daily (Acts 2:41).

Vacation Bible School (VBS) is right around the corner.  VBS is for children aged 3 through those who have completed the 6th grade.  The dates and times are July 27 through      July 31 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.  Registration is easy. This year’s theme is RAINFOREST FALLS- exploring the Nature of God.    

Services are at 10:30 AM every Sunday.  Sunday School is at 9:30 AM.  There is a class for every age.  One change:  We are worshipping in the chapel on the 5th Sunday of every month that has five Sundays.  Our next chapel service will be May 31, 2026. My office hours continue to be Tuesday morning between 9:00 AM and noon.  Other times available upon request.  I can be reached at 785-633-2621 or bcasper3@cox,net.  My prayers are with you that you & your families have a safe Summer.  May God be with you on vacations and bring you safely back to your homes.  We hope to see you soon at Bethel.
